ABOUT US

Mike offers 25+ years of experience in the construction industry.  Mike grew up in St. Joseph, MN which is about 10 minutes outside of St. Cloud. He entered into the construction field at the young age of 16.  He started out working with a road construction company out of St. Joseph.  Once he completed High school, he was offered a job building cellular phone towers.  This provided him the opportunity to travel and learn different traits of the construction industry.  Unfortunately, this job ended when Mike fell 280 feet from a tower nearly ending his life. He had a long road to recovery, but fully rehabbed and was able to get back on his feet again (literally!) He decided to go back to road construction, running paving crews throughout the state on MN.

Once he met his future wife, Amy, they moved back to her hometown of North Branch, MN.  For the next 5 years, Mike managed a small oil change company. He loved his job and the community he worked in. But he was always drawn back to the dream he had early on in his life of wanting to be his own boss and owning a business one day.  In 2013 the opportunity arose, and he decided to follow his dreams; that’s when MPH Construction was started. 

Mike’s expertise is in roofing, siding, building homes & pole barns, home remodeling, home additions and exterior remodeling projects. He has a passion for the work he does.  Mike provides excellent customer service, is honest and reliable.

Mike not only is a small business owner, but he is also a husband and father of 4; ages 18 yrs. to 8 yrs. old. When not working he enjoys spending quality time with his family on the lake, hunting, fishing, boating, motorcycle riding and coaching his kid’s sports teams.  His family means the world to him and treasures the time he gets to spend with them.
